London town.

Hello! It’s been a while! I have been a bit crazy busy the last couple of weeks – usually I am prepared and schedule some blogs in advance, but this business (busy-ness?) took me by surprise!

Last weekend we had a stall at the First Comes Love bridal fair, then a wedding, then a shoot with one of our favourite florists for a project she’s working on (keep an eye out for #30crownsin30days – it’s going to be amazing!!)… so it has been a bit exciting/overwhelming/crazy busy!

But now, finally, I am sharing the last of my travel photos – from the few days we were in London. We crammed a lot in to our short time there, so here is a short summary of what we got up to! If you’re interested in seeing any more of our photos, we’ve put a few up on our Still Love website, which you can visit here.

A pretty village.

I am almost through my travel photos, I promise! Just have a few more photos from around England to share – picturesque towns and villages right through to the chaos that is London.

While roaming around the Cotswolds, we of course had to visit what is apparently the ‘most picturesque town’, Lower Slaughter. Despite the name, picturesque is definitely the way to describe it – the stone houses, the mill on the water, the little river that runs through it… so so pretty! We stopped for scones and ice cream and spent some time exploring the village, and it was lovely :)

English fields.

One of the main things I wanted to do while we were in England was wander around some lush green fields – and we were lucky enough to find some when we visited Broadway Tower. Next to the tower is an amazing walk with amazing views – and sheepies to boot! After all the craziness of our trip, it was such a serene and relaxing morning :)

Manors and gardens.

Later that day, after visiting Berkeley Castle, we went to Newark Park in the Cotswalds. We hadn’t actually intended to visit, but saw so many signs as we were driving around, that we decided to check it out. It was almost 5 by the time we got there, so we didn’t get time to visit the main house (is it called a Manor? I’m going to call it a manor, it sounds super fancy.), but we did get to work around the gardens… and they were stunning. So amazing! Everything I wanted to see in the English countryside.

Here’s a few photos of us exploring the amazing estate!

Castles and butterflies.

Our next stop after Santorini was England. We were pretty stoked, as we do not handle the heat very well, so we were excited to be heading to what the English call ‘summer’, and seeing some greenery again!

While we were in England we packed a lot in – we spend a few days driving around the Cotswalds, before heading down to London. These photos were taken in and around Berkeley Castle, which was a pretty amazing building, with beautiful rooms (…where I pretended I was a character from Game of Thrones), gardens, and even a butterfly house! It was so so pretty, and well worth the visit :)

And just some general silliness to end with…
